Jack & Elizabeth's wedding is put into jeopardy in a number of ways leaving us Heartie fans, who were anticipating a beautiful ceremony, at the edge of our seats. But, as always, Hope Valley pulls together for their fellow citizens. This is a special lesson learned for Elizabeth's Father as he exclaims how much it must be costing to hire so many people to fix things to pull off a beautiful wedding in a limited amount of time. He learns the lesson of the love between neighbors, which is a rarity where he lives. The show again & again delivers suspense, lessons to be learned, & romance. This show is a treasure amongst other shows that do not deliver family friendly episodes for all ages in which the whole family can sit in the living room & discuss what they are watching with enthusiasm.

Deja vu from last week
TKBlackburn19 March 2018
This felt like the backup script to the week before. With an overwhelming list of things to do for the wedding get everyone to pitch in when it's too much. Last week it was bride angst, this week a wrench thrown in the works that didn't really change anything at all.
I grew up on Janet Oke's books, and I'm so glad there is family programming on Hallmark. But the milquetoast flavoring from all things Canada homogenizes every series. This episode felt especially convoluted to eke out an extra week of programming.
But it's still way better than everything out there, so by comparison it's a 10. But for what it could/should be, it's barely a 4. I settled on 6 as a compromise.
