Esme saves this episode
rorygunn12 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Once again we get another episode at least to begin with where the mutants refuse to do what is needed to rescue the captured mutants that also include the Wonder Twincests-I mean the Strucker kids..instead we have to deal with Reed and Caitlyn being buzzkills and trying the negotiation route...Yawn..Meanwhile at the lab Dr. Campbell is testing the Wonder Twincests-I mean The Strucker kids to see how powerful their orgasms-I mean powers are when they hold hands like boyfriend and girlfriend..again another yawner although there is a surprise that happens..Thankfully though Esme is now a part of the picture and without giving it away does what is needed..The cold open shows Esme in a flashback and gives a bit of insight as to why she's here and thank goodnees she is..I know we're supposed to be suspicious of her but quite frankly I'm rooting for her and her sisters...to me Esme and her sisters save this episode

Don't believe the fake rating

Warning: Spoilers
You have got to be kidding me. Everyone I talk to agrees that the writing on this show sucks so bad. Yet the ratings magically appear so high. What we want is a show with good guys who can actually win a single battle. In this episode we see the weasel bad guy actually make one of the mutants feel sorry for having tried to not die. The main bad guy is one of the most incredibly evil people on any show. Because his child died in an accident caused by a small handful of mutants, he is actively trying to kill all mutants. Imagine a bad guy so bad that he wants to exterminate an entire race, and then imagine writers try to make him seem "not so bad".

Then at the end they bring in an actual cool killing machine, and we are somehow supposed to think they went too far? These bad guys are kidnapping and torturing innocent children. But you just know the main character mutants are going to whine "no, you went too far." That is why the main character mutants suck. They should let the tough mutants take over.

This is ridiculous. My advice is to watch this show in clips, fast forwarding several minutes at a time. It keeps the frustration level down. Otherwise you start screaming at the tv and scaring others in your household.

And one more thing, time and again they let the main bad guy live. Why?

Unbelievable stupid

This episode is horrendous. Worst ever among all movies ever written. The writing is sooooo weak, twists and turns are worse, acting is mediocre, whoever wrote this episode should be fired immediately. Zero talent, zero! I cant stress this enough but it's just so terrible I had to watch it in 3 days, cuz I couldnt continue after every 10 minutes of pure trash television.

Why does bad stuff get renewed?

Just asking. It's horrible to think that writers and producers just push through the latest Marvel project without thinking, and we get this mess.

Elena Satine doesn't appear in the first episode (contrary to the cast listing). She's a terrible actor anyway, and her part should be eliminated if this is to get any better.

There's another show on with the same theme of mutants vs. authoritarians (can't remember the title) - but its way better written.
