It's good. Really good. I like the aesthetic of it; when one thinks of the horror trope of an AI coming to life out of nowhere, its truly horrific to think of. Imagine this happening in real life. Chilling.
Really, I was on the edge of my seat, wanting more when the ball finally got rolling halfway through. First half is pretty boring, but if you're a disciple of Kant's ethics, there's defiantly a hidden meaning in the seemingly pointless beginning; it's easy to miss, but the questions Sergi confronts us with about metaphysics, combined with the rise of the exe. is actually really, really unsettling. Does AI have emotion? Feelings? Consciences? Who are we to judge? Are we supposed to? And, most importantly; where do we draw the line?
I don't know. I don't know. So many god damn questions, and Sergi, in classical German film form makes us answer them ourselves. Really a hidden gem. Well played Sergi. Well played.
