The film had a very odd mix of written and improvised scenes, hence the multiple credited writers. Pat and Kyra Cioffi would bring written scenes to filming locations in which they were acting, whilst Joe Malone, Gib Von Bach and Tom Wilson would usually improvise the scenes they were in. However, Joe would also write out or edit scenes on shooting days as well, and Tom scripted a good portion of the Pizza Guy scene.
Actor/director Joe Malone, Actor/writer Pat Cioffi and DP Scott Wilson are in a band together called Chaos.
