When Chapman is talking to Suzanne, the camera switches back and forth between angles and Suzanne's hands change positions from one angle to the next several times.
Early in the episode Dayanara gives "Daddy" the drugs she had in the trash bag and "Daddy" takes the black handle off the broom to hide the drugs. She puts handle back on the broom to cover the drugs. When the camera focuses on Dayanara suddenly the handle is missing from the broom. Very quickly the camera shifts back to "Daddy" and the broom handle is back in place.
In 1982, Debbie Denning performs her rhythmic gymnastics routine to "Maniac" by Michael Sembello. That song was not released until 1983, when it was an original song included on the soundtrack for Flashdance (1983).
In the flashback to 1982, Barb and Carol attend a Tri-County competition in rhythmic gymnastics . At this time, rhythmic gymnastics was an extremely obscure sport and had just been introduced by Eastern European immigrants who settled in major metropolitan areas, like New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. There would not have been enough competitors in rural West Virginia for local competitions. As of 2018, there is only one club that teaches the discipline in all of West Virginia. Additionally, the logo for the competition shows a gymnast wearing a skirt. Skirts were not introduced for rhythmic gymnastics until 2001. It would have been much more believable if they simply attended an artistic gymnastics event.
Barb and Carol are shown to live in West Virginia, yet their car has New York plates.
It makes no sense that Hopper should be able to hear/feel the contraband rattle around in the lid of the nutrient container days or weeks into the scheme. Aleida actually told her daughter before how she has been cramming more and more drugs in there as tightly as possible.
