- Convinced that the universe is leading the way, a very confident Kevin heads to Laos with Tyler in search of the first righteous soul. Meanwhile, Yvette has her doubts about their mission and has a chance encounter with Tyler that changes both of their outlooks. Back in Texas, Amy goes all out decorating for Christmas and decides whether or not she's truly ready to date again.
- Kevin is more convinced than ever that the universe is pointing him in the right direction to find the first of the righteous souls he is to anoint, he needing to travel to Laos to find all the visions he's had, he knowing that soul by the red jacket and red cap the person is wearing as he's seen in his visions. He is even more convinced after all the early obstacles he encounters, such as where to get the money for the expensive airfare, seem to magically disappear largely on the good deeds he has done up to this point. But when Kevin encounters some obstacles that lead him seemingly away from his visions, he has to decide to follow what he believes will lead back to those visions or if the universe has some other purpose for him. Tyler, who is able to accompany Kevin on this trip, has his own encounter with the universe in the form of who he is certain is his angel. Despite Kevin's convictions, Yvette can't help but question the mission, Dave who has put enough doubts in her mind that following the leads - i.e. Kevin's visions - will actually result in disaster. She, however, cannot let Kevin directly know her thoughts just in case she's wrong. Meanwhile, Amy has decided to go back to her routine of going all out for Christmas, the first time since John's passing. In feeling like she has put enough of John away in her day to day life, she returns to thoughts of dating, most specifically with Iggy. But the initial chance meeting between Iggy and Nate and its aftermath may show Amy that there may be other fish in the dating ocean.—Huggo
