This twenty-one minute interview with Orson Welles' biographer Simon Callow has him taking a look at the making of OTHELLO. If you're a fan of Welles or of the film in question then you'll certainly enjoy this featurette as it shines a light on a lot of the problems that haunted the production. We get some terrific stories from Callow who talks about various issues on the set including the actors being misled about how they'd get paid. We also hear about various issues the film had when it was completed as well as the aftermath for Welles. This is certainly a very entertaining featurette that manages to be a great history lesson on this period for Welles. We get some great stories about the production of the movie but the best stuff deals with everything that happened after the movie was released.
