Well done to all involved, the whole family sat down and enjoyed it. Was fab seeing the shots of Bailaidn. A local family putting on a really good performance!

Got to be honest, only nine and a half stars. The grown men crying didn't really work for me. I would be crying to if my family went through that though. Still I considered it a little to much.
The rest was fantastic. For a no budget first film , if true, kinda hard to believe now that I think about it, it was totally believable to me
All the actors were great, even the dog. Special effects awesome. The only thing I didn't like about the length of the film was that it was way too short. Great work! More please.

I really enjoyed watching Abduction, from the local setting to the fascinating storyline! - done with no budget and executed brilliantly. Mawson pulls you in with creative suspense filled camera panning as well as raw acting for a less contrived performance. Would love to see this film made into a feature production with some investors behind it! Well done

To be honest after watching this film I googled the story as I thought it was taken from real events, that's how good this film was. This was a really good short science fiction movie. With a clear nod to Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Great job would love to see more films by this Director. The visual effects were seamless and the story and build up was cinematic perfection.
Hidden Gem of a Sci-fi movie worth the watch.

I've seen a lot of Science fiction movies and have to say after reading about this film, I had to see it for myself. The story is really engaging and the build up is so good. The acting is fantastic and to say this film was made with little to no budget the visual effects are great. Well worth a watch if you like your sci-fi stuff.
My wife was literally in tears at the end such an emotional story very well made. Just wish it was longer than 16 minutes.

A great short indie

Really enjoyed this. Cool special effects and an interesting twist at the end kept me engaged the whole time. With a short run time (15 minutes) Abduction cuts right to the good stuff. I'm impressed with what the filmmakers did with little to no budget. Check it out!
Science fiction mini epic

Awesome short film set in West Yorkshire. Tension - check, Atmosphere - check, musical score - check. All wrapped up into a 15 minute tale - 10 Stars. Definitely someone to look out for in the future. To say this is a zero budget film this is brilliant.
I actually thought this was based on real events. Amazing film!

Why have I never seen this before!?. This was such a great short film from the beginning to the end, it hit every beat. Not many people realise how had indiefilms are to make but this is incredible. The visual effects are amazing too. It was a hreatbreaking tale and my wife cried. To be honest I did a little. The fact that i Googled this story after as I thought it was real just tells you how well made this was. The director actually used his own son in the film and it worked so well whith the videos of him growing up just gave it that edge. I'll be watching out for my from thei Adam Mawson a very talented individual.
