The rivalry of two lovers.

You Season 1 Episode 5

Review : What I want to say to review this episode is that this episode is very interesting at once. In addition to the many interesting elements we have seen in this episode, this episode is full of thrills and mysteries. An extraordinary mystery has been created at the end of this episode as to whether anyone saw the real attacker at all.

Acting : In the case of this episode, I can say that every actor-actress has performed well enough.

Direction : The director has done a good enough job and he is good enough in his role. The way he has worked with all the actors and actresses is really commendable.

Story and Dialogue : I have to say that the story of this episode is quite interesting and full of thrills and mysteries. The way the story of this episode is arranged part by part is really commendable. I would like to thank the authors of this episode very much for writing this story in such a beautiful way and for giving this story a wonderful look. This episode is very good and uses deep and thrilling old dialogue which is very remarkable.

Soundtrack and Background score : This episode uses a good enough and high quality background and Unlike the rest of the episodes, no soundtrack was used in this episode.

Cinematography and Editing : The cinematography and editing are good and admirable enough for both episodes. The editing of this episode in particular is really very good.

Other Departments : Location, lighting, sound designing and vfx are all high quality and good enough.

Overall Episode : Judging by all, I gave this episode nine out of ten stars.

Thanks so much for reading my review.

Romantic sick person

What I liked about this episode is the character of Penn Badgley. He's so sick of romance that he feels like you want to break down the screen because of his sinister and sordid character. What a beautiful drama!

Meet your level Hero.

It is going so interesting that I can't imagine how a simple story survives in this high tech world. I salute to the writers and the creative team for what they have introduced to us. It is totally awesome. Finally there is a mind of Joe's level and now the game is on but I am surprised why CBI never called Joe for a spy job😂😂.

I don't get it! What was that?!?!
Just-A-Girl-1412 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So far Joe has been acting like a really smart and patient guy. Yes, creepy but still, mostly smart. What the hell was that? Hitting Peach in the head in broad daylight at Central Park??? And if that's not stupid enough (someone could have seen him, lots of cameras all over the place etc), then he throws the rock with Peach's blood and his DNA and fingerprints on the side of the road? Is he trying to get caught?? I don't know what's coming (for a minute there I thought he was imagining the whole thing) but I'm really disappointed! You can't have it both way. Either he is smart or not. This is not even remotely close to being smart - this is completely stupid and it can't even be justified as a mistake made in the heat of the moment since he was training specifically for that. I'm going to keep watching just in case I missed something but if there isn't any good explanation ahead, I'm out. :(

Ok so good ep and as a fan of the book loving the show but the way he tried killed peach was stupid compared. So obvious and didn't even hide the evidance, plus considering who they cast it so so obvious she wasn't going to be dead yet

YOU - Episode 5
djrocky17 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
It's always disappointing to watch a previous episode and then see the pattern of mistakes. This episode tries way too hard to come across as thrilling or exciting. The obvious twist that can be seen by anyone who's watched shows like this before. Or, you might just see the twist coming due to knowing who the actress is.

It was clear from the very start of introducing Peach; she is annoying, cliched, unrealistic to a certain extent. Once again, like Captain- It's trying too hard to come across as edgy, and not even the better production can save this. Once again, the acting is amazing when it comes to the better moments. But the acting can drop in quality and this shows when the writing becomes less impressive.

Overall, I'd say this episode borrows from Captain. But also tries to be something different without much success.

Final Verdict: 5/10 Stars "It's edgy enough to be liked?"

Can't suspend my disbelief

Joe's idiocy is intolerable. Stalking people in broad daylight, standing right outside their window, is obviously far-fetched. But the last two words of this episode (uttered by Joe) convince me he is on another level of stupidity.

Towards the end, he attacks her from the back, and seconds later they show us the wound on the left side of the forehead? Really? I can't believe anyone in the 2018 would do such a lame mistake...

And so on...
bombersflyup5 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
In Joe's perspective, but too much girly drama again. More like "Dexter," with the jogging attack and the computer stealing, looking at videos. I like that he attacked Peaches. Joe keeps tolerating being verbally attacked and walked all over, then apologies come. If he talked to her the way she does to him, she wouldn't even speak to him again.
