Very enjoyable

Warning: Spoilers
So Jake and Charles become friends with Kyle who is part of...or was a mob/gang.
While I feel not much happened, I still enjoyed this episode. The ending was the best.
They leave you on a cliff hanger, I was afraid but excited at the same time. Well worth watching as I believe some really great episodes will soon follow.

It was an okay episode tonight, but the Kyle character was particularly annoying. Paul Adelstein's Murphy character is annoying as well and it looks like we are stuck with him for at least one more episode, if not more.
Amy had her best episode in awhile, loving and obsessing over bureaucracy. Unfortunately, that was canceled out by Gina being as annoying as ever during her story.

Less a comedy more a soap opera

This is not really a comedy anymore just a boring soap opera. At least days of our lives knows what it is and doesn't pretend otherwise.
As with soap operas it is now the sort of show you put on because you can't think of anything else to do.
It was funny for maybe one season but that got lost pretty quickly and now it is just a self indulgent soap.
The characters have gone from charming and likeable to annoying and forced. And it is clear it is just a paycheque for the actors. Apart from Andy Samberg whose self-love and self-abortion leaps out at of the screen and slaps you in the face; and then kicks you in the head while your on the ground, and then smashes you repeatedly with a baseball bat until you are forced to say 'yes you are funny, now please leave me alone'.
