I thought this was another good and funny affair, with the supporting characters increasingly getting more to do, which can only be a good thing.
Yes, we all watch to see the antics of the younger version of Sheldon Cooper, but we need other people to invest in too, otherwise this spin-off becomes a 'Joey' situation. And that's hard for me to say because I adore the underappreciated 'Friends' spin-off.
There are lots of nice moments here, and a real sense of heart along the way too. This is something that the single camera show allows you to do a bit more than multi-camera, as 'The Big Bang Theory' was.
Overall, a good episode once again.

Sheldon is afraid of someone that is bullying him near his home. When Mary learns his fear, she asks Georgie to protect his brother. Soon Georgie learns that Sheldon is afraid of the six-years-old neighbor Bobbi Sparks, and she asks George to talk to his neighbor Herschel Sparks and take an attitude.
"Jiu-Jitsu, Bubble Wrap, and Yoo-Hoo" is, so far, the silliest episode of "Young Sheldon". The "predator" Bobbi could have been used based on his education and ethical that a man should never raise his hand to a woman. But been scared of a tiny girl, is ridiculous. Many of his attitudes are due the over-protection of Mary, who seems to be a woman not prepared to be a mother sometimes, and are not adequate for a boy. Confrontation of next-door neighbor in a situation like shown in the show is not funny, but absurd. My vote is six.

I love the slideshow intro. It was such a wonderful touch.
Making the journey home for the Yoo-Hoo. That's what it's all about.
Best part of this show is looking up all the references I don't understand.
Everyone in this family is so different and yet the love is always there.
I'm still blown away by how many songs I know from this show.
Not to get ahead of myself but this child actor really has a future in film.
Grandma's story on the bowling term "Turkey" is something I would totally do.
Fighting Sheldon is priceless.
OMG the set design is perfect in this show. I'm blown away.
Really love that his brother helps him out this episode.
Crazy Chicken!!!
Even when Sheldon is scared of the bully, he's still so strong for his age.
Dad is a perfect high school gym coach.

For an avid fan of Tbbt , Young Sheldon has always been and always will be fine to me. But when you are showered with a series of good episodes and then slump back into two successive bad ones, you really start to worry.
Jiu-Jitsu, Bubble Wrap, and Yoo-Hoo is a interesting approach that began with a slightly muddled storyline with some messed up character interactions. The episode went out of line from its plot a great no. of times, only to be lost in time. The only redeeming quality to be produced is undoubtedly, again is Ms. Cooper. Although her scenes were far less than in the proceedings, it was to be increased . Yet again, if the series need to get right, they should really get their best out there.
