Jack Scalia on 'The Rift' (2016)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

Fans of actor Jack Scalia are really going to love this thirty-one minute interview that starts off with him talking about the 1990 horror film THE RAFT but then goes into various other films he did. He starts off talking about the original meeting with Dino DeLaurentiis and how he ended up in the part. From here he spends a lot of time talking about the film's director who couldn't speak English. There are some fun stories told about this issue. Once the discussion of that film is over he goes into details about his personal life, which is basically him talking about the various famous people he knew including Rock Hudson as wel as a certain dinner where he was with the likes of Sinatra and Peck. There are a lot of really good and really funny stories here. If you're a fan of THE RIFT then you'll hear some great stuff and then the stories dealing with his famous friends are just as interesting.
