Presented as a long, choppily-edited vintage grindhouse trailer.
The film was improvised and ideas were spawned during production with no clear-cut script. Ideas were written on notepads and roughly organized. This only worked as the film itself is a trailer and is meant to be clunky and off-kilter. Dialogue was dubbed badly using different words so as to appear the actors might've been speaking a different language and hastily looped by "American" actors.
Originally intended to be a sketch per Mykee Morettini and Peter Dorman's joint "Neue Nomads" comedy channel. As such Mykee is featured as the lead character and Peter plays multiple characters throughout.
In the credits at the end of the trailer, fake names are given for the actors portraying each characters. Peter Dorman - who plays multiple roles - is credited for each part under different names. This was to play into the "authenticity" of the vintage trailer package, further detaching it from reality.
Shot from early summer until mid-late November of 2014. Changing seasons were inevitable and posed continuity errors as the story takes place within a short timeframe in the summer.
