- TriviaThis is the second episode this season that Carolyn McCormick (Dr. Elizabeth Olivet) has appeared in, the other being "Pathological (2018)." This season marks her first appearance since the season 14 episode "Deadly Ambition (2013)." Before that, she hadn't been seen since the season two episode Abuse (2001).
- GoofsAt some times in the episode it is said that Ms. Vega is being charged with murder and at other times it is said that she is being charged with manslaughter. When Ms. Vega is still in the interrogation room ADA Stone says that he is charging her with murder, but then at her arraignment she is charged with manslaughter, then later on in his office Stone once again says she's being tried for murder.
In this case manslaughter is the correct charge, specifically manslaughter in the second degree since Ms. Vega did not intend to kill the owner of the apartment when she hit him over the head, her intent was only to incapacitate him.

Olivia Benson: Can you stop? Please, just stop. I've, uh... I've heard the lecture before.
Peter Stone: Maybe, then, you should listen.

Peter Stone: That doesn't entitle her to seek revenge.
Olivia Benson: But it does entitle her to reclaim what was once hers. And if revenge is part of that, then... then so be it.
Peter Stone: You don't believe that.
Olivia Benson: I believe that the wrong person is on trial.
These folks think they can operate just like they do in Latin America with wholesale killing of law enforcement and their families. The climax shootout with one of their assassins proves tragic.
One of the hostages from the previous story shows his true face. It's a frightening face indeed for Carlos Miranda.
Nice to see Carolyn McCormick back as Dr. Elizabeth Olivet. Genesis Rodriguez will need all the help she can get for an insanity defense.
Better than the first episode of this two parter.
