Appreciate the Realism
ericgrapatin12 May 2018
This is my first review on IMDb because I'm shocked at the overwhelming negative reviews on this episode in particular.

I've always enjoyed Blackish even when they take big risks that miss (Chris Brown). It's refreshing to see a show that covers topics that aren't covered anywhere else and to most people is extremely educational. This dive into a more dramatic and realistic storyline will only strengthen the projection of the overall storyline. Those looking for a fluffy sitcom can find that ad nauseum anywhere else. Just like real life things aren't always jokes and goofy mishaps.

Loyal followers can enjoy for the rest of its run!

Guys it's a comedy drama!!!!!

Just like Modern Family, Parks and Rec, the Office, Brooklyn nine nine and tons more! WHY am I even defending this?! There are episodes in other comedy tv shows that deal with difficult issues or their characters go through difficult times! This is one of them!

A little bit of real life doesn't hurt
jqbug200212 May 2018
I have to say last two episodes have been very sad. Being married and having 3 kids I can relate on how hard it can get in a marriage. I love watching blackish because of the comedy But it was nice to see them bring a little drama. I'm sure they will not get divorced and will pull through as it should be...

Comedy or Tragedy?
paria-molayem9 May 2018
I am not black or American but I loved Black-ish. It was a comedy which gave me a lot of life lessons. But lately, it is just dark family drama. It shows me worst days of my life. I watch comedy to lift up my spirit and forget about my problems even for 20 minutes, but for past 3 weeks this show just has been crushing my spirit.

Is this a comedy or a tragedy
This topic is exhausting. This isn't the premiss of the show I loved watching. I watch sitcoms to escape from real life not to relive it.

No more a sitcom
The sitcom plunged into a deep valley from past three weeks. Direction, screenplay and all other sound technical aspects, including the wonderful acting skills of the cast, are put into utter waste by the plot of the current episode. What are you trying to achieve? Pick a genre and stick to it. Else, make something appropriate series that consists of 'family drama'. I am not ready to watch tragedy under the umbrella of comedy.

Season 4 is ending horribly
A-thompson-junior21 May 2018
The Johnson kids attempt to keep their emotions in check after an estranged Dre and Bow try "nesting", taking turns living in the family house separately to give each other space. But tensions mount as the family gathers together for Junior's high school graduation.

Blackish please stop. Be funny again.

We do not like this. Its turning into a drama. not a good episode.

Cmon guys... I come here to laugh not to stressed out... This storyline was too stressful and overwhelming. One or two episodes would have been enough....
