- Seeking redemption from his sin a weary man confides in an old Priest, but the vile sins of the man only feed a much darker evil luring inside the Priest.
- Evan Barbeau enters the church concealed in the blackness of the night. He sits down in one of the church pews and watches the Priest pray at the Altar. He coughs and the startled Priest turns to face him. Evan puts his face in his hands and begins to silently weep as the Priest moves towards him offering words of comfort. Evan explained that he had discovered his wife's betrayal when he found her and her lover entwined in their marital bed. The Priest showed no emotion but inside the inner demon was hungry for more details. In his jealous rage, Evan ended both their lives as they tried to defend one another. The Priest encouraged Evan to describe the event in detail telling him this will help to bring him peace. The Priest listened to the confession silently & calmly tells Evan that as he is truly repentant of his sin that God too will forgive him. Evan feels a rush of relief sweep over him and he holds the Priests hand in both of his thanking him for his kindness. He says his goodbyes and turns to leave but a booming voice calls out for him to stop. The haunting insistent voice emanating from the Priest sent shivers up his spine and he stood frozen to the spot. He could hear the words and from the corner of his eye he could see the Priest but he had no idea what was happening or why. He managed to turn his head enough to see the Priest and could see that he had physically changed in his features. He no longer looked human. The fear of the unknown and the rapid change in circumstances added to his confusion and Evan felt paralyzed with fear & unable to comprehend the enormity of the situation. The horrendous monster that stood before him was screaming at him "your sins are too great, no god has forgiven, no god has forgotten". Evan tries to run but the monster grabs his waist and crunches down biting his head clean off. He spits out the severed head and it rolls towards the bottom of a religious effigy.
