Good characters, great writing, and good acting. It's the kind of show I feel would bre worth a binge weekend. When I sat down to watch season one, that was it. Three, twenty minute episodes. Can that be it? Really? I would give it a higher rating, but they just didn't bring the plot along far enough.

The only two downsides to this show is the lackluster script and the fact it's only three episodes in the first season. There's five in the second season (which came out August 1st) but I can't find it anywhere to watch it. Perhaps Prime will get it soon. I hope so, I enjoyed it.
The basic story: David (Sean Lerwill) is on a road trip to an airport to give his ex-girlfriend, Jess (voice of Jessica Carroll), her passport. David's still in love with her and he's hoping this will hook them back up. On the way to the airport he finds to his surprise a naked woman going by the name of Olivia (Kate Braithwaite) in his car. Subtle hilarity ensues. It is subtle...the writer(s) could have pushed the idea a bit further in comic relief but I think this story is meant to be more of a romance.
I enjoyed it. When the short first season was over, I wanted more. What else can you ask for?

I enjoyed this engaging short series and I suppose it's a comment on how much I enjoyed it that I was disappointed it was only three episodes since the fact that I wanted more speaks to its quality. It really seems more like one rom-com movie divided into three episodes than a TV series but it's quirky and funny and the characters are engaging; David and Olivia? are great foils for one another and the mystery of who Olivia? is and how she came to be naked in David's car is intriguing. I will say the climactic scene when David and Olivia? confront "the bad guy" did seem a little contrived and resolved itself a bit too easily. On the other hand, the whole plot about the "bad guy" and Olivia bringing the envelope to him was really just a MacGuffin to connect Olivia? with David and give them somewhere to go so that we could ride along with them on this long and enjoyable car ride with them so I don't think it would be accurate to mark down the series too much for that aspect of it. I want to add that when David takes his shirt off, the thought occurred to me that the actors first met at the ab machine at the gym and said, "Hey! Let's make a movie together!"

Interesting concept and script for a TV movie, packaged into three very short episodes. The movie was entertaining and funny, and not something that you could find on US TV, which is sad. I thought the acting was terrific, but I have the distinct impression that re-takes were not in the budget. I thought it only hurt during one action scene, though. My wife and I would both like to see more episodes with these characters, but understand that the original concept has run its course. David and Olivia at Home (or more properly on the Lam), would be a different idea entirely.

A very strangely written and unrealistic script ruins this potentially interesting story.
The way David responds to Olivia- our random naked lady- to appearing in his car is so bizarre and unbelievable that I don't even think the actor can convince himself that such a person could exist. This translates in his lacklustre acting, which is less than convincing. The same can be said for hers.
Neither the acting nor script later picks up in quality, resulting in a rather difficult watch throughout. The characters are subsequently two-dimensional and boring, as is their developing relationship.
Despite poor execution, the cinematography and setting is rather beautiful, though this is little consolation for the before-mentioned problems. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Finished this last weekend on NETFLIX and really enjoyed it. At only 3 short-ish episodes it went by way too fast. I hope more episodes come soon because the characters are really fun and likeable and the story is "mostly" believable and very entertaining, plus Kate is a real cutie!

Attractive and likable cast with interesting situations and dialogue. Olivia feels like a grifter at first but as the two warm up to each other during the drive to Edinburgh, you can feel the opportunity for romance between them blossom. I liked it.

A road movie (minseries?) with an unconvincing plot, mainly written as a two hander for the two main characters to chat a lot in tbe car. Oh, and at least one of them is naked most of the time. There is a convoluted crime subplot, and a more convincing one about an ex-girlfriend. All the while Highland scenery can be seen in the background...the humour is a bit hit and miss.
A Scottish set drama with no Scottish actors? (Even those putting on Scottish accents don't do so convincingly!) Given that it's set in Scotland, they could have included some. Yes, I'm well aware England rules Scotland and some parts of the country are full of English, but really? Next time you make a series about Scotland, at least include some!

Loved the premise and moved along swiftly enough. Characters were well drafted. But the acting was very poor. Get better actors involved to prop it up and it would be great. Superb scenery. Recognised a lot of Scottish west coast. Maybe linger in the loch shots a bit more. The road trip and the two leads relationship kicking off in such a short time was good. More expansion if more episodes.
Don't waste your time and don't even get me started on the Geography!!!!

Very strange story, only watched the first series and the first 5 mins of the second as i was bored to tears!
The roads they were drive on, i frequently drive up and down to visit my parents and in the last scene they were driving away from her house supposedly outside Edinburgh, that road my friends if the road out of OBAN on the west coast!! LOL
Yeah, don't bother! lol

Well that's two hours of my life I'll never get back, pushed through the boring characters, poor acting and unbelievably stupid plot in an attempt to find
1. The reason why Olivia was in the car naked in the first place, and
2. The reason for all the great reviews
Still don't know why she was in the car naked and don't care anymore and am convinced that any good review for this tripe is written by someone connected to the show although I would be hesitant to be associated with it in any way shape or form.
Trying to think of a redeeming feature to finish on a high note but there isn't any. Avoid at all costs.
