A first and undoubtedly the last, enjoy the ride.

I always read comments before I decide, but this was the first time I felt COMPELLED to speak out, just for imagery alone, it's well worth the ride. And Will smith? Who knew! As if that's not good enough, you can watch it with your kids, your grannie, your dog. when was the last time you could say that about any cable show? It's relatable to all, while satisfying those with the " inner nerd" Without stating the obvious, finally a talk drink of intelligence, emerging from the soul killing desert we've been Subsisting in over the last several years... GASP! A river of knowledge!

Warning: Spoilers
I was amazed to discover that the ages old idea that the Amazon Rain Forest provides us a large amount of our oxygen is no longer the accepted theory. The fact that most of our oxygen is from tiny critters floating in the ocean is a revelation to me, of course I haven't seen a science class for over 30 years and all I know has come from the internet which unfortunately has been quite biased. Then to discover that as glaciers calve they feed more of the little critters making huge plumes of oxygen.

I don't know about anyone else but I think the answer to a question lauging our world may have an answer. As CO2 warms the atmosphere the glaciers calve more often feeding the tiny critters more often thus making more oxygen which balances the system out. In the end it seems the planet does in fact have a system for fixing itself in times of great CO2 release. I am sure some doom and gloomer can find a dark cloud for this silver lining but I am relived to know that we can dial down our fear of destroying the planet a few notches.

9 stars for the breathtakingly real images of earth...

... and one star off for the fake space images that convinced my friend that this was proof of a globe earth. Great and convincing acting and narratives all 'round. Got to hand it to you. They do know how to spin a tale of mammoth proportions. It was also cool to see footage of real people and places on earth. A lot of hard work went into this, for sure! Bravo!
