Hospital

Warning: Spoilers
This was just terrible writing. Who cracks their head open and the school nurse wraps it up and says if she starts having problems take her to the hospital lol. She should have been taken to the hospital immediately and stayed there.

Monica

Warning: Spoilers
Why didn't the writers just kill off Monica in this episode? She is the most repulsive character in the cast? Are we supposed to dislike her or is it just natural for her to evoke that response.

Warning: Spoilers
If I only saw the opening sequence it would've 10 out of 10. Most amazing song ever. If you watch this episode just put the first 3 minutes on repeat.

Oh wow the opening melody

Got me a goosebumps instantly, its Claudias theme from Unforgiven, composed by big man Clint Eastwood himself.

In first five episodes ive build a certain addiction to this tv series, but this episode hot me hooked indefinitely 😂 😂 😂 So Glad Kevin Kostner got into this marvelous story, he is still in a great shape indeed, considering his age and all.

The way its done these days to make a tv show like that was not even possible to dream about back in time when Kevin did Dances with the Wolves.

So happy and excited we have him the way he is in Yellowstone :)) I hope i don't sound like a crazy fan though haha.

The Remembering

It is all about Kayce. In the morning he is about to be attacked by a bear. Luckily Rip is riding by and scares the bear off.

Only for Kayce and Rip get involved in a ruckus.

To top it all his wife Monica intervenes to break up a fight at school and ends up getting knocked down to the ground. Despite being heavily bandaged, suffering a head injury. No one takes her to hospital.

It is ever so soapy because you just know Monica is going to collapse by the end of the episode.

Much better was the political machinations with Jamie running to be Attorney General, possibly as an Independent.

It leads to a nice showdown between the Governor and Beth.

As for John Dutton. Two of his rivals look to join up. Dan Jenkins and Thomas Rainwater make a land and casino deal. No wonder John is so grumpy, complaining each day has some disaster that he has to deal with.

Again some uneven writing, maybe each episode should focus on fewer characters rather than cast its net in a random way.

One major problem...

I actually might have to stop watching this show because of Kelly Reilly. Just an awful casting choice. Combine a bad actress playing an insufferable character and and all the scenes she's in are impossible to watch.

Preposterous

Warning: Spoilers
Of COURSE the wife gets her head bashed in the moment the show needs drama. A little less coincidence-driven plot would be good. It's just hard to suspend disbelief.

Warning: Spoilers
Much better than last week for sure, but the show is still a bit too slow-moving.

At least it moved the story forward, but there is way too much hitting women on this show. Even the way John was talking to his daughter felt kind of aggressive, and I am certainly not a snowflake who usually complains about these things.
