The gaming commissioner tells Wendy and Marty that "keeping Missouri a right-to-work state is a priority for me." However, Missouri is not a right-to-work state nor ever has been.
While Marty is talking to Jacob about Riparian Rights he states that Jacob flooded his land and then connected back to the Missouri River. The Missouri River is about 45 minutes north of Lake Ozark and there's no way Jacob could have done this. It's assumed the writers meant the Osage River, the actual river that was dammed up to create the Lake of the Ozarks.
