- When a young man finds a time machine device, his life spins out of control.
- This is an anthology movie, 4 unconnected short stories. Similar to the "Twilight Zone" movie but with time travel or some kind of time distortion as part of each plot. "Reset", "Momentum", "Vienna Waits For You", and "The Graveyard Shift". 2nd and 3rd stories are subtitled in English.—Mike H.
- This film is really four short stories stitched together as a single anthology film, but the plots are not connected. Also it seems like these may have all been low-budget projects or indie short films that were originally shot independently, and simply compiled as a single film just to find some way to release them all.
"Reset" is the story of a young black student dealing with racism and bullying at school, and finding a time travel device, with mixed results. The story follows Jaywon, a quiet black student who lives with his mother, and whose father is missing or dead. He is bullied with some pretty overt racism from a fellow student. He discovers a sphere in his father's things, which allows short-term time travel. No real explanation of where it came from, Jaywon uses it to try to escape being bullied and makes a friend at lunch. But the bully's father is even more of a racist, and ends up attacking Jaywon and his mother in their home, with a gun. The device doesn't seem to be able to send Jaywon back far enough in time to prevent his mother's murder. Ending is ambiguous.
"Momentum" is a foreign film subtitled in English, about a scientist working on time travel and being confronted with the paradox of meeting their future self and murder. Very basic, no real action, just the same woman playing two roles. She's working at a blackboard, her future self comes up in a cloak that allows time travel, but turns out the woman didn't invent it... she got it from her future self. Then future scientist attempts to kill her "younger" self, is unable to, and is in turn killed by her "present day" self. Some discussion of paradox but unclear why the scientist would be motivated to continue this loop needlessly.
"Vienna Waits For You" is not about time travel, but is rather more of an eerie, supernatural story: an apartment seems to consume the lives of tenants, making them age rapidly, and the story follows one young woman being confronted with being trapped by the lease. This is also a foreign film subtitled in English. When the young woman realizes what is happening to her, she tries various ways of escaping, but it seems the curse is inescapable once she signed the lease. She could find a new tenant to take her spot, which the landlord indicates is what usually happens, but she decides against it, very rapidly aging in a matter of days until finally losing her life by being absorbed fully into the apartment. It seems like she was hoping her sacrifice would prevent the apartment from needing another victim for several years, which the landlord seemed to confirm.
The fourth story, "The Graveyard Shift", is about a man's first night on the job as a night watchman, and being confronted with an overdosed young woman on the roof. But there is a supernatural time-related twist in that the overdose he witnessed actually happened many years ago. Possibly even originally intended as more of a ghost story than a time travel one. First night on the job, and he's met and given a little training by his predecessor. During the night he finds a woman overdosed in a car on the roof parking lot, tries to get her help, turns to find her alive and running off the roof... and the next day, he meets the morning guy who lets him know that the man he thought trained him actually died seven years ago, and that he had a heart attack when finding an overdosed young woman, so... seems like the new security guard either was caught in a reflection of past events or met a bunch of ghosts, never really explained.
