This episode centers around a thrilling bank robbery and prisoner escape, made all the more impactful because they are circumstances that came about due to Teresa willingly puts herself in a difficult position. When the story is told in this way, where a character's fate is defined by a series of decisions, the build up feels so much more natural and climactic. They are not victims of the writer's room, who sometimes force plot points so that they can serve some greater story arc. The choices of Pote and James matter in this episode as well, as they are now committing themselves to Teresa.
