- Being part of the 2013 anti government protests in Bulgaria the talented Pr creator Boyden confronts a choice- to help nursing his dying demented grandfather or fight for his unjustly lost job. He goes back in his communism infested home to understand that to help the old man he has to fight his alcohol dependence first. On the way of bringing his life back together Boyden has to make another choice.
- Boyden, a gifted PR agency designer is fired for his ongoing alcohol abuse. Not able to move on, he blames it on his boss, on his wife and searches his grounds in the anti-government protests flooding the capital. Months later things are even worse when his mother tells him that his grandfather has been through a surgical operation for a joint replacement. The general anesthesia has triggered severe dementia and now his will to rehabilitate is gone. He recalls no one. Boyden's mother is too broken down so he is the only one to go help there. Back in town Boyden sees his wife walking with his daughter and his boss Erol in the park. Not knowing she's trying to bring him back to work, Boyden gets jealous for both his wife and daughter. He feels betrayed. In his deep crisis he decides to leave all behind and go help nursing his grandfather. In his grandmother's province apartment he enters a havoc of complicated relationships. He's on his own with the two old folks. The next several days, with only some minutes of sleep he understands how bad the condition of his grandfather is. Boyden keeps on drinking and the second night in his alcohol distorted mind grows a terrible nightmare- his grandfather is fallen down from the bed and his leg bone is severely crashed in two. And Boyden is too drunk to help! He clearly feels what his drunkenness might cause. He feels the burden of responsibility. Boyden decides to stop drinking. Time passes. Boyden takes care of his grandfather and tries to overcome his abstinence with the help of his grandmother. And he succeeds! In two months he wins over his dependence. He is up to get back home. He pays a visit in his old office with his apologies. But his boss does not believe in second chances! Once an alcoholic always an alcoholic! Erol, the boss , goes wild molesting his secretary in front of Boyden, provoking him to join and drink with him. Boyden has to chose again- to run away or help the secretary. He hits him with a bottle. It's lethal! Just before giving up to the police he receives a call that his grandfather has passed away. Back with the rest of his family he sees his desperate grandmother. He witnesses the collapse of the family which bond once was his so controversial grandfather. After the funeral Boyden takes his decision. He finishes his last letter to his daughter, his only legacy for her and instead of surrendering to the police he blows his brains out.
