Not quite enough fuel to keep this train moving.
benjaminchristopher1 June 2020
It started off fairly promising, following themes and story of the original (so far, more superior) film. Characters are engaging enough, set designs are eye popping at times. But as the story is trying to come into its own more, the script is weakening and it's coming across very cheesy at times.

The character which is a blatant copy and paste of Tilda Swindon's performance, just doesn't land either. Not trying to disparage to Actor but she's just tried to copy her entirely.

I'll still try to tune in each week, but it's not quite what I hoped.

The least favourite episode so far. Some scenes didn't make a lot of sense, it was very messy to watch, ending gave some bonus points because it was intense.

Unnecessary sex, bad acting and dull plot
sepit912 June 2020
Can't say why I'm still watching. The main male actor is acting so bad and the support isn't so great either. He is also dull character and even hate how he looks, I mean nobody has hair like that

[5.6] Access ver.3

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 3: Continuing on the same path, nonsensical, nothing's really happening, everything is artificial, unrealistic and messy. All that people in a train, they would have eaten each other already. Also, the number of security and guards is way too low, the number of tidy people 'a la mode' way too high.

Slower than the first two episodes
nataraj12 June 2020
In this episode there are quite a few mood (and other) shifts:

first of all, the crazy frantic pace of the two first episodes gives way to more peaceful human interactions. Romance, and bromance. Dealing information instead of extorting lies. There is actually a silver lining on the horizon: Miles made it to Third and gets an education with his food.

Nice.

Not so nice: First Class is getting restless. And a clue points to this club of untouchables. Will they be touched by Leyton (an "untouchable" himself, only at the low end of the spectrum) ?

I enjoyed getting some plot instead of permanent full throttle action.

I did give this show a chance ! But it's going no-where
khattarmuslim1 June 2020
I gave 8 stars for the show, hoping they would speed up things and bring the story after having showed how the train works in the first two episodes. But very dissapointed by the third episode.

Showing the black market world in a train
cruise011 June 2020
(2 out of 5 stars).

This episode i will say is losing its steam with the detective questioning in the black market of the train. And another conspiracy rising. Kind of a boring episode with barely anything happening.

I can't wait to see football night, AMerican, OR european!
FIght night indeed. Listen, political commentary or not, anyone that can get past the clear logical fails of the snowpiercer idea are.....well, just seeing what they want to see. The movie premise was bad enough, but tolerable for a one-time sitting. But a series?! Just tell me how people get from car to car in a 1001 car train and I'll buy in. But it isn't possible. I cannot believe this got approval by a TV studio.....wait, yes I can. I await the Fut/football show.
