Will Arnett and Martha Plimpton seem like an odd pairing, but they did a good job in a role that really surprised us with how it played out. At the end of the last episode they made it seem like they were drug dealers or something, but it turned out they were people only trying to help others, albeit in a far less than conventional way.
This was a good episode, but it went off the rails near the middle part. A pretty good twist that I did not necessarily see coming.
What works about The Guest Book is that it is a funny show, but it also has a lot of heart in it too. This second season has me hooked and I am baffled that there are some really criticizing the episodes so far.
