Real life mirroring art

I enjoyed the series and have been watching it on catch-up via BBC iPlayer.

However something odd happend. I was watching finale in the morning and when it was over I switched to a broadcast of BBC news.

There was a live stream of a lady talking about Dominic Raab who just happens to be the UK's First secretary of State.

But there was a technical problem which led to the picture freezing and part of her sentences not being heard.

The presenters apologised and asked her to repeat but the feed kept freezing - so they gave up and said they might try and get her back later.

We'll interestingly she was the mother of a certain Harry Dunn who was killed on his motorbike when the wife of a US intelligence office forgot that in the UK we drive on the left-hand side of the road after turning out of an airbase.

Harry's mother was still clearly distraught and had a few things to say. Of course I'm sure the technical problems were real - but it just seemed a bit convenient that her rant against Dominic Raab was in effect censored by the glitch.

It's a strange old World

A captivating finale.

The full truth and extent of correction is revealed. Shaun is given an ultimate.

I genuinely don't understand what on Earth those that have this negative reviews watched, it clearly wasn't the hour of drama that I just sat through.

This final part had a tag of being vague and complex, far from it, it was a thrill ride, and as far as I could see all questions were answered, and all explanations were given.

Callum Turner was unbelievable, what a talent he is, he was in great company.

Loved it. I hope this is the conclusion. A second series would spoil it. 9/10

American pragmatism raised to the last degree, yet someone is always up, judging you

A disappointing end to an otherwise decent series...

First 3 episodes in this series are great. This episode should've wrapped things up rather than go typical BBC and drag it out for additional series for more money.

Correction

The final episode sees the appearance of the final big star Famke Janssen. Some American government bigwig who is a few pay grades above Frank Napier. She brings him down a peg or two and lets him know that someone is watching him.

Unfortunately each time Famke came on screen, I kept wondering how much botox has she had. Maybe she was that fake real time 3D CGI that the security service have developed.

I thought The Capture had a potential to be a really good thriller. Unfortunately it never reached its potential. The final episode blew off course and the reason for it was in case they got the go ahead for a second series.

The security services are afraid that they not want the information out in the open that CCTV footage can be corrected. Make guilty people look guilty so they can be convicted in a court of law.

Rachel gives them an ultimatum but Commander Danny Hart thinks she could be recruited to work for the security services.

As for Emery, he is persuaded to do his time quietly for his and his families sake.

A murky and confused thriller that is morally bankrupt. It does not like lawyers. One barrister murdered, a solicitor beaten up and then abducted by some shady spooks. What were they going to do with him? Emery's daughter is taken and used to put pressure on Emery. All of it been done by the 'good guys.'

Life of David Fail

Warning: Spoilers
Interesting start, thought it may be original but by mid episode 4 you realise it's just a blatant copy of the film "Life of David Gale". The last two episodes drag out what could just be condensed into a sentence detailing the plagiarism and not to watch if you had seen the film. Bright spark turned to mildly entertaining embers.
