Sports and Sexual Education - 2 in 1
nodas_212 April 2018
The best sports show in Europe (1). Combines sports, religion, politics and foot fetish advices. A modern aproach on mythbusters with famous experiments, such as: Ivic and the beer can, or the more recent, Garcia and the tale of lost receipt. The show also promotes local greek products like honey. All the bent-mouths be afraid of the famous boxer-presenter. All the mother in laws be afraid of Malatos, who can become Skliratos.

Don't don't don't miss it!!!

Once I called at the show and told Raptopoulos to never come to Harilaou beacause the Bulldogs will red his neck and might break his little glasses. He told me to close myself in the bathroom beacause my mother was having a meeting with her lover in our living room. 10/10 would recommend it!

Democratic...
strato-601632 April 2018
The only sports-talk TV show that allows every voice to be heard, regardless of athletic team, religion, ethnicity and politics. A breathe of fresh air in today's Greek television which is full of censhorship.

A different sport show. Offering even advise about relationships and sexual life. Talking without being afraid, they give you a different glimpse of football -mainly- reality. Talking about every football team in Greece without being aggressive.

Incredible

What can one say about this show.. The epitomy of cult television. Old school football talks, city locals as pundits, raw football analysis and of course major contibutions from Greek football lovers and fanatics via telephone. Two hours of pure joy, simplicity and democratic endeavours.

A must watch for sure!

Amazing ! The Magic of Thessaloniki City
dmikroudis6 April 2018
Marmita it's without a doubt the best TV Show in the world. Even though the old cult years have passed, it's still entertaining and offers you education. Who can forget The Kiosk Man, The Bougatsa-Pie, Tregias the Plumber and Zahos Drooling. Their absence is huge but The Karaflokorax has still managed to bring some great names like Malatos and Alexandros from Ko. Even Rory Galagher wrote a song about Marmita's panelist, Iraklideas aka Tattoo'd lady (Tsoutses) Dont go to University. Just watch Marmita !

Informative, funny. The best show in Greek tv. The only downside is that it lasts only two hours.

Cult like Pulp Fiction

If Platini asked Tarantino to make a sports tv show, that would be the result. Drooling and Bougatsas are like samuel jackson and travolta. Makukulas is like Bruce Willis after he was diagnosed with tourette and after he was shot twenty times in the mouth. Raptopoulos is the sportscaster from Tarantino's universe who talks about boxing and plakonia between the eyes (sponsored by axepa). And always remember: Kosmaaaaoglou 909090

The earlier years, when the show was purely about football and local personalities of pure trash, was IMO the peak of it.

Later several personalities left, and new ones came. It took several years for the panel to be stable again. Many panelists were missing the crooked mouth and the humor, but eventually the latest 3 years have once again peaked the show.

This show has saved many greeks from psychological issues. Several people have quit drugs and alcohol from the magical cure of Marmita.

THIS SHOW MUST GO GLOBAL
drakopoulosaj18 September 2018
The perfection of the classic-old school football tv show. The worst representatives of the best Greek teams that you can imagine, all together trying to make a conversation and Rapto right in the middle of that holy table making laugh of them. Just amazing! This is what i watch every night before I go to bed. Really sad that Naoume, my personal favorite of all them passed away 6 years ago ( @NaoumeAthanatos guys must like this facebook page for sure btw).

Did you know?

If you ever wondered what the TV show title means, well here is a free translation:

Either in A(first league/Alpha) or B(second league/Beta), everyone aims for marmita!

But what is actually "marmita" means?

The real meaning of the word describes a type of metal cooking utensil, kettle or pot, as well as excess food in a dish. From the Italian marmitta (it)> french. marmite.

Metaphorically refers to work / activity with significant earnings, but without productivity, contribution, or responsibilities. It refers to the known negative pattern of civil servants, mostly who are disproportionately paid for their performance, as if they were snacking food from the pot.

Shall I put you in the calliper to straighten you? Drink some water, some Hemo.

In times when the level of Greek television is constantly deteriorating due to the lack of investment, this gem is a light in the darkness. A true masterpiece, which paved the way for the panhellenic cultural appreciation of the "bride of Thermaic Gulf". The element of surprise is ever-present, as the fabulous Kostis Raptopoulos will jump into a new adventure with every appearance. A notable example of this is the pouring of honey onto his own hairless scalp in a rare, fearless demonstration of the corruption of Greek politicians. The guests never fail to amuse equally competently as the legendary host of the show, as the title suggests.

After viewing this show, kids from old psixiko can be fans of Paok without any implementation of their parents. The previous procedure was: 1. The parent must send his kid to a dentist in order to implant golden teeth 2. The parent must forbid the kids of cutting their nails 3. The parent must forbid to take a bath in order to have all dark, almost black feet, suitable for mitsuko flip-flops 4. The kid must learn to shout like uruk hai Additional career programms: Whoever participates on the tv show, can be radio producer. - Limitations: The aprentice must be fully uneducated.

A REFUGE FOR TILTED MOYTHED PEOPLE

What is the best way to decribe your home?Everyone would express in a diferrent way because a home is not a building( (in this case the show )for our paok fans) because a home consists of memories, beatiful and ugly moments, little parts of the timeline you describe as life. That is our beloved MARMITA, a place where people from all kinds of economical, political, educational levels have a chance to gather around the warm fire of discussion and football and pass the lonely cold sundays of winter until the summers come, where all the memories are saved not only in youtube but our hearts

I hope mister Karasaidis-Saramasaidis never laughs again. He makes me sick. He didn't see Georgiadis' karate kick, but he saw a foul there.

P. S.: DELLLORTE.

"Who are you to talk about Cooper. Did you see Cooper? Did he play a game? Go and find your team's shares....". Those words sound like poetry in my ears. A must-watch and a classic of modern television

That was a happy coincidence!!!
saspidiksa15 March 2023
As I tuned in to the Greek Superleague sports show hosted by the erudite Kostis Raptopoulos and his panel of pundits, I found myself utterly transfixed by their intriguing and idiosyncratic personalities.

Firstly, Marios the footlover Aslamas, an enigmatic figure whose fascination with the women's feet adds a fascinating layer of complexity to his analysis. His obsession with this particular aspect of the human body raises some provocative questions about the intersection of fetishism and sport.

Zachos Drooling, on the other hand, is a prime example of the power of the human body to betray its owner's intentions. His tendency to drool uncontrollably while discussing the game is a curious phenomenon, one that raises intriguing questions about the mind-body connection.

Nikos Bugatchash, meanwhile, embodies the archetype of the underdog, always seeming to be one step behind his colleagues. His struggles to keep up with the fast-paced discussion evoke feelings of empathy and compassion in the viewer, while also highlighting the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity Finally, Tassos Treyas represents the rational and analytical side of the panel, a cerebral figure whose cool-headed approach to the game provides a much-needed balance to the other panelists' more visceral reactions. His measured and deliberate analysis adds a layer of intellectual depth to the discussion.

Overall, the Greek Superleague sports show with Kostis Raptopoulos and his eclectic group of panelists is a thought-provoking and multi-faceted exploration of the intersection between sport and human nature. It is a show that rewards close attention and contemplation, and one that is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who tunes in.

A cultural monument
stoulosan10 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
What can we say about this masterpiece? From the directing cast including the local legends Faidon, Skinothetas, The communist, Moderator and most recently Bill Chatzinak (in the superb role of player-coach) to the stars of legendary status.

From early days where Nikos Mpougatsas handcrafted a generation with his legendary lines to Zahos Drouling vs Tasos Tregias fight for the eyes of Zagorakis. Makoukoula was providing the rain to the magical scenery while Kostas Areianos was making love to our inner-souls (sopsyha). Guest appearances from the Kioksman (peripteras) and the To-say (naoume) provided us with magical episodes.

But don't underestimate the new generation. Ntzorntan's lottery for the stolen bike is a novel of its own while the souvlakia soutzoukakia lie in the belly of the vrontous' lion. Little Kostas (Kostakis) roars through his silence while Menios blends ideally with the regenerated old cast. Finally the Sachlamas vs Skaltsone saga (The Bill knows) will probably be taught at schools in the future regarding the incidents that changed Greece's history. The Frouros and the Mellias upgrade the quality covering the absence of stars like Malatos who is probably cuddling with some mothers in law.

Brilliant show, not to miss.
