  • A woman is seen floating naked inside a tank-like structure. She is curled up like a fetus, so nothing explicit is shown.
  • One character asks another if they want to "do it", referring to having sex.
  • A ghoul try's reveals that a ghoul investigator is a girl but posing as a boy which is tire the ghoul opens up the person's coat and all you see is her bra

Violence & Gore

  • Much like the previous seasons, the violence and gore here is very present. Characters are impaled, bisected, sliced up, eaten and so on. Blood is an extremely common sight.
  • A ghoul snaps off an investigators head (this act is censored through a POV shot) and drinks the blood that spills, before going on a murderous spree during an infiltrated auction event.
  • A man tortures another man in a flashback by strapping him down to a table and repeatedly severing his limbs.
  • An investigator endures a very brutal death courtesy of getting his head impaled with an active chainsaw and stabbed through the chest.
  • A large ghoul is about to consume an investigator during an auction event, but gets his neck broken in retaliation.
  • Two beheadings occur to an investigator and a ghoul, the first of which is slightly censored whilst the second time is much more graphic as we see the head fly off.
  • During episode 6, the main character is tossed around a large hall and beaten up again and again by a powerful ghoul.
  • A major character gouges out a ghoul's eyes with his own fingers, leaving blood trails rolling down the ghoul's cheeks.
  • A character rushes outside and bashes their head against a tree repeatedly in frustration, leaving their face battered and bloody.
  • Civilians are bombed during a festival by rigged balloons given to them by clowns. The destruction and terror can be very disconcerting.
  • CCG soldiers and a ghoul are blasted with fire during an operation. The ghoul shakes this off but the soldiers are burnt to a crisp.

Profanity

  • Middle Finger is shown. One characters middle finger has the F-word on it.
  • B****, H***, A**, Da** and F*** are used.
  • Two uses of "fuck" in the last episode
  • One character exclaims the word "Fanculo" to another. The word is Italian for "f*** off/you".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two investigators are often seen smoking and sharing cigarettes to relieve stress. One mentions that he only does this at work so his wife and child wouldn't have to see it.
  • Some of the main characters go undercover in a nightclub in which alcohol is being served. Wine is seen being spilt and one character gets mildly drunk.
  • Characters are shown drinking beer merrily during a wedding ceremony.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the first episode, a man is trapped inside a taxi with a murderous ghoul, who attacks him in the backseat. The scene is very claustrophobic and uses dark lighting for the effect. The attack itself is played out disturbingly, especially since the ghoul in question is known for being a sexual killer. The man escapes, but the ghoul retains an obsession with him for the rest of the series.
  • A sadistic investigator films and posts a snuff video online in which he tortures a captured ghoul and shows the camera the ghoul's severed tongue, before threatening to do the same to his other body parts.
  • A character has a disturbing nightmare in which he comes face to face with the zombified corpse of a ghoul he killed earlier. The completely blank eyes and rotting appearance may scare some viewers, especially as it comes right up close to the camera.
  • The appearances and roars of many of the ghoul's kakujas can be very monstrous and disconcerting.
  • Torso is a very disturbing character, being a serial killer with a perverse obsession with Mutsuki, an investigator. He often gets very excited upon their unfortunate encounters, much to the latter's dismay.
  • A character's eyes and mouth are sewn shut.
