Just okay

Hands down the weakest finale. They still do a great job with characterizing Crawford and Roman, but ultimately the episode ends with a whimper rather than a bang. It just wasn't compelling enough. Also, the big twist at the end left me feeling empty.

Great and unexpected

This was a really great finale. All those twists and unexpected stuff. I felt really sad, then surprised, kind of happy and at the end just shocked. I'd say it's too much for one episode but felt like everything was at the right time.

An Incomplete Finale

Warning: Spoilers
I have been watching Blindspot since the show started and season 3 in general and its finale for specific was the weakest yet. This season's questions was left unanswered yet new mysteries rushed to open. It was not a good thing they killed off Crawford without even revealing his plan.

About Roman, the reasons why he made the tattoos has not even been fully explained either. Roman once told Kurt that taking down Hirst takes years to plan, and now here he is, saying he started only a year ago. Confused yet? That is why Roman's death just seems pointless and spontaneous for me. And now, the team is back to chasing the tattoos, which has been going on for three plain seasons.

More disturbing, Jane turned into Remi again. It is interesting that we also get to see Remi and her multi-personalities being displayed at the same time but we are back to Jane playing two sides like in season 1. Deja Vu!

season ending w/ few explanations

Warning: Spoilers
I agree with noalygh's review in large part. I, too, have watched this show from inception and enjoyed Seasons 1 & 2. This third season left too many plot holes and contrivances and inconsistencies re: characters.

How did Roman put those tattoos on Jane? When? We don't know. How did Roman acquire feelings? Roman w/o amnesia due to ZIP (i) had no feelings of love in Season 2 (see psychiatry episodes) yet somehow (ii) loved Blake in Season 3 to the point where he double-crossed the Team and changed sides so he could be part of a family. Oh yes, and he DID have feelings for his sister. How did Roman manage to be everywhere he needed to be -- always one step ahead, er, one flight ahead. When did Blake acquire murderous tendencies -- weakest character they've created. Why didn't Jane have symptoms of the ZIP poisoning long before Roman considering she was injected 4+ years ago w/ much more ZIP than him, and Roman only one shot 2 years ago.

Best of season: Rich Dotcom and Patterson, hands down. The actors are so good the writers can't but help write them great dialogue. But Extras on DVD show Ennis did some adlibbing for portions of his time on camera! Great fun. Also Luke Mitchell is one fine actor and I liked most of the Roman character and wished he coulda been a good ALIVE guy "in the end".

Personally, I'd have thought -- and would have liked -- that at some point they'd have said "Ali" and "Ian" to one another, at least at the last just before he died. They knew each other with their real parents to about ages 8 or 10 and then in the orphanage until Shepherd adopted them, so they were Ali or Alice & Ian or Eon during their very-formative years, but the writers had them always use 'Remi' and 'Roman'.

As for the hints of Season 4; I'll be curious to see who Roman talked to at the last. Otherwise, no interest in viewing a bad Remi or Zapata; and the Blake character did nothing for me, so I don't care about what she will do. Finally, the "scattered digital bits" that complete Roman's tattoo clues and info re: cure for the ZIP poisoning is right out of Harry Potter . . . each bit sure to be in some obscure place and dangerous to retrieve, just like the horcruxes of Voldemort.

Warning: Spoilers
When Roman is fleeing the orphanage he's driving on the right hand side of the road. In South Africa they drive on the left hand side.
