Warning: Spoilers
A pretty solid start to the second half of the season.

Not crazy about the direction of Fiona, but hopefully she finds a way to exact her revenge. Fighting with customers is always going to be entertaining though.

I guess a potential 10th season would involve Carl being the father to the baby?

Yet Another Token Commentary

Warning: Spoilers
I guess every single conceivable TV Show is going to have the token anti-immigration commentary within it at some juncture. They all read like PSAs warning against the horrors of illegal immigration. I am so thankful my family came here legally...to do so otherwise seems as horrifying as taking chances with any other crime. We got it.

Legal immigration: It CAN be done. We got the message, producers and writers: Illegal immigration is a horrible crime with horrible repercussions. Understood.

Can scripts now move onto something else? Message received.

Moving along: I also HATE what is happening to Fiona. It is breaking my heart. I supposed she had a slap coming, but again: Isn't moving up supposed to be a good thing? USA indeed.

Warning: Spoilers
I hate how they're reusing lip's addiction story for Fiona's development. Her losing her apartment building is great, reusing addiction as a form of harsh character development becomes lazy and uninspiring.

Love how they worked the ICE detention center separations into this episode though, something political that works for the show.
