It's an okay episode, but has some profound moments in it.
Sam is very sociable, but has no real friends. His only friend is Guy, and Guy doesn't even like him. I love how EB is a driving force behind Sam's development. I think she's the first character in the series he actually opens up to.
Meanwhile, Guy finds love in the Quiet Car when he meets EB's mother Michellee. Although this is a romance that is going to drag on for a while, this scene is very sweet.
Some of the jokes don't work, but one editing joke at the beginning, coupled with Guy's reaction, is absolutely hilarious.
I appreciate the show for not being too "hip". Even the R&B song being played when Snerz's cronies arrive is from 1974 (even though the show supposedly takes place in around 1965). I love the One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish joke.
