Shiros story is captivating and has you wanting more from the first part to the third. Would be great if Rapman were to make a pt 4 but hopefully on Netflix 💥💣

NETFLIX WHERE YOU AT?!?

Seen somebody say stupid plot!?!? First of all, "based of real events" means it sorta happened, secondly, shut up... I thought it was great, loved it, need it on Netflix ASAP been waiting like 5 years now and still mad that they have never picked it up, so many great actors, including Dushane, I know not for long but could be in it longer in a Netflix takeover. Anyway love this story and rapman is too underrated and needs more attention, can't wait to see him direct this and many more 10/10. As a movie too this would be great but would also love it to be a series and binge it for the next few weeks,

Warning: Spoilers
"Shiro's Story" is a 10-minute live action film from 2018, so a pretty new release and this one scored several millions of views on Youtube in the last couple months, so certainly a big success. Director here is Rapman and his work here runs for 10 minutes approximately and tells us the story of a young African-British/African-English man (yeah the term sounds strange I agree, but it is the equivalent to African American I assume) struggling with his family, crime and life in general. You don't see British hip hop music as often as you see American, that much is safe, so the English accent is always something that sounds a bit off although I have heard and liked some stuff I have heard in the past like The Streets,, but this one we have here is entirely different for sure, much closer to American hip hop I'd say. I am not too impressed, neither by what I hear nor by what I see in terms of acting and story-telling. That's why as a whole I give this film a thumbs-down and even if it is a music video I still felt that the video aspect and film was dominant here and not the music side, something you really don't expect too often in music videos. And while it is not a failure, I was not entertained by any aspect and component from this one as much as I hoped I would be. Skip the watch here.
