Slaughterhouse Rock: An Interview with Nicholas Von Sternberg (2016)
*** (out of 4)
This here is a highly entertaining featurette where cinematographer Nicholas von Sternberg discusses his career including the low-budget 1988 film SLAUGHTERHOUSE ROCK. If you're a fan of von Sternberg then you're going to love this interview as he provides some fun information on that 1988 film that was shot at Alcatraz. What's even more entertaining is when he starts discussing some of his other films including the Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder film ANOTHER YOU. That film had a very troubled production, which included the original director being fired and everything they shot being cut. We get to hear some very interesting stories about that production and that alone makes this worth watching.
