Episode 4 and the Italian segment goes walkabout altogether.
It starts off in Mexico where Manuel makes a violent point. He is now in charge of the retail distribution of drugs in Monterrey. Anyone who crosses him has to deal with a sledgehammer to their head.
The constant conflict between his faith and his desire for money etched in Manuel's face. Not sure why, money is his god given the trail of blood he has left behind.
The pace is more sedate in Senegal. Chris and Emma try to get their hidden drug cargo in the ship through customs and to its onward journey.
Not an easy job as everyone is suspicious and demanding more baksheesh. Chris has no faith on their fixer.
It is time for Chris to step up and use a contact he has found.
It is all too convenient. Chris goes to a pharmacy looking to get prescription only painkillers and makes an unnecessary scene when he is refused. Anyone else would have asked for a dodgy doctor who would write out a prescription for a few bucks.
At least it gives the writers an excuse to hook up Chris with a Mr Big. The man with the contacts who can solve Chris and Emma's problems. To me it was clunky writing.
