Warning: Spoilers
This series is involuntarily funny, that's the drama here. Look for yourself, the young tenderfoot, prisoner of ISIS, in the middle of the Sahara, is the target, with the convoy of vehicles, of a bomb, probably thrown by an American drone; and guess what, ONLY HE SURVIVES !!!! and when he arrives in the village, he, the only survivor, gets out of the four wheels and ORDERS the ISIS members to obey him !!!! That'amateurism in the writing of the TV series begins to piss me off. i have though the feeling that the writers are not the same. For the Italy sequences, the writing is awesome, for Mexico state too, but for the African part, that's totally garbage. I will continue to comment. Stay tuned folks.

Sharia

It started out interestingly with Stefano being treated for his gunshot wounds by a doctor sympathetic to his cause.

The rest concentrated on Chris and Emma in the Sahara Desert in Mali.

Both of them get tangled with Jihadists as they try to get their shipment of 5 tonnes of cocaine out.

This is an episode where Chris and Emma enter a nightmare world. Emma is separated from Chris and thinks he has been killed.

Chris meanwhile seems to have bonded with this ragtag band of Jihadists. I doubt they understood him as he talks about his illness.

However it does take the biscuit when an explosion goes off and Chris, the only white man in the group survived unscathed.

Unless the episode meant to show how the siblings are coming of age without their father's guidance. I was at a loss where this was going and why it stuck with the desert story for so long.
