It puts the folklore around "tiktik/aswang" (a monster folklore in the Philippines) to a different light. It brings the story in a less broad setup yet I think it was clever. The storytelling and acting is great. It builds up on emotion rather than horror but is still effective in its own way. It also gives subtle social commentaries and the script was well written. Praises to all the main actors for delivering the perfect emotions for every scene making it a great Filipino movie for its kind. Underrated probably because it did not get a domestic release in theaters. Definitely above average. Watched this in a local streaming platform and if you are looking for some gems, here it is.
