Just great storytelling
aguvallejo19 September 2019
I loved Tuca & Bertie but this episode makes it not only a personal like but also a true and humble masterpiece of storytelling. With subtle remarks on the nowadays world (the fall of the shopping malls as recreational and social meeting points of the past couple of decades), the plot goes slowly but steady to the heart of one of the co-protagonists of the show. Fun, deep, heartfelt, beautifully structured, this episode makes Tuca & Bertie stand out from the rest of the adult directed animated series. Not only the writing is a 10/10 but also the visual storytelling is compelling and effective. Although it's much better if you see the whole series, I think one of the things that makes it great is that you can also see just this episode and enjoy it on its own.

Better than lots of Bojack episodes!

Amazing, just amazing. The spirit of the 11s episodes of every season of Bojack where all comes toward an climax is here, and its amazing. The entire season was good enough but this...!

This is a good episode, a warning for sexual assault would've been good too.

Warning: Spoilers
I liked this episode a lot, but the story that Bertie tells in the latter half of the episode caught me off-guard. I'm not sure how many survivors will watch this episode and feel the same way, but a warning at the start would've helped to mentally prepare.
