I really didn't know what to expect from this movie when it's titled "Good Luck" but gave it a watch and suspense in it is pretty good and keeps you hooked until the end. Gave it a solid 8/10 Defo watch the movie!

A masterpiece

In my mind, this is clearly the best short film out of the three that aired under the same programme. The story has an amazing build up and the ending is absolutely unpredictable!! That's why I loved this one the most. You are left in awe at the end. The other two short films had pretty predictable endings. And have to admire the amazing acting by Tina Desai and Kunal with amazing direction by Sujoy. Overall a 10/10 from me.
Horror not Thriller, Very Subtle, Very Scary

I chose Good Luck to watch on Hotstar last night because it seemed the best of what I had not already seen, and also it was a reasonable 44m watch instead of a 2hr++ regular length film Good Luck is listed under Thriller. It is in fact a Horror genre film.
I avoid watching Horror movies especially in the evenings because ... well because they are scary and who wants scary stuff just before you sleep.
The Horror component in Good Luck is not the usual in your face type; it is ever so subtle and thereby ever so much more scary. Not surprisingly my sleep quality wasn't the best last night. I kept thinking about the plot and it became even more fearsome. In that sense, this is a very good Horror film because the horror is subtle, real, believable and could happen to anyone.
Tina Desai is superb as the quintessential Goan Catholic young woman Jenny, the rest of the cast is equally good and believable. The plot holds the interest to the end, it is quite different and the horror dawns upon you oh so subtly, even much after the movie has ended. That is the hallmark of a 'good' horror movie though believe me, I ain't going to be watching another in a long time. And certainly not at night.

Distressed luck!

Warning: Spoilers
Shot of a movie, after a free trial of the good luck package , u have to pay the price for the subscription and that is 'killing someone' and even that murder will be managed by the good luck company. What nonsensical idea. Even at the end when the police inspector turns out to be working for the good luck company, what possible reason might have been for this murder nonsense suspense is still no where in the plot. Don't watch will be my suggestion.

Average watch, pretty meaningless, Great actors

This is the best example of a movie with a great premise and a useless unsatisfactory ending. The build up of the story was great and a lot of suspense was created but towards the end the story had many loopholes and the ending was incomplete. My mom says the ending was like a black hole - you are nowhere after reaching the ending. The director left us clueless. Khoda pahaad nikla Chopra
