This album (second of two: Break Up and Apart) is really dope. The effort put into putting this video for Bad Dreams is over and above dedication to making a great music experience. Watch and you will be mesmerised into static shock of astonishment. Never will you have watched such a brilliantly crafty and psychotropic concept of a video for music. Both albums by Pete York ft. Scarlett Johansson are worth listening to on loop, so hop to it.

Sleep will never come that easy, but liking this one does not feel difficult at all Warning: Spoilers
Here we have the music video for the song "Bad Dreams" that premiered about a year ago, sligthly over, and you can read the names of the two protagonists in the title. The male singer is Pete Yorn and that's pretty much all I can say as I have never really come across any other of his works. He is American by the way. And then there is of course Scarlett Johansson, one of the defining actresses of her age group for pretty much all her career, even if she is still waiting for her first Oscar nomination. She is also the main reason why this exists as a title on imdb I suppose and was also seen by many and rated by a few, including me now. The music video director is Sophie Muller from the UK and she is really as prolific as it gets, which is immediately visible if you take a look at her endless body of work when it comes to music videos. Now as for her work here, maybe you did not know already, but Scar-Jo is also singing and that's why she is included in the title, not just acting. I like her as a singer. I thought she was brilliant performing the Oscar-nominated song from Chasing Ice. Here she is merely okay I suppose. It becomes obvious that Yorn is the real professional here and I like his voice. But in terms of the acting, it is exactly the other way around. Johansson is great, Yorn is a bit clumsy, even if he is not doing much more except simulating that he (almost) falls asleep at the wheel. Nonetheless I believe it was a good music video and is worth checking out for everybody who likes one of the two protagonist. For me that would be Johansson, even if I like her a lot more with long hair of course. The plot twist at the ending is good as well, I won't spoil it for you. All in all slightly over 3.5 minutes certainly worth checking out. Unlike many of these songs that have huge charts success despite how much they suck, this one here probably won't be a financial success, but it is quality. I mean it does not even have a wikipedia page, enough said... But there is no hesitation for me in giving it a thumbs-up. The only question is if it is good or great. I'd lean towards the former. Go watch it, don#t just listen to the record or you will miss how much fun these two apparently had during shooting.

Update 12th July 2019: The song is really stuck in my head, so I increase my rating from 6 to 8 stars.
