Presumably the reviewer who calls this one boring:
1: Doesn't like good character drama. Because whereas Kinsey and Tyler and Bodie are all still pursuing answers and get over the last one quickly as a result, their mother doesn't. The resulting depiction of trauma and the effect it has on her is realistic and very good acting. It's not something shows usually take the time to do, so this is to be welcomed and applauded.
2: Didn't pay attention in the last quarter. Because chats do lead to a big revelation, which seems to answer a question outstanding since the start of the first part. It's a good surprise development.
This is a memorable watch and worth a 9. Do pay attention next time!
