In the preview, I was confused as to why Gumball was wearing a Santa suit. I then discover that he was going to Penny's house and his clothes fell into a shredder. Then his underwear came off! A Santa suit was the only thing Penny's family had for him to wear. Was it really worth all that just to get the girl he wanted? Considering he beat Dipper, Finn, Marco, and Mordecai, I'd say it definitely was!
I seriously think I might be some romantic sociopath. Anyway, the plot is that Penny wants her parents to come out of their shells and I guess they want her to go back into her shell. Gumball tells a series of stories to stall for time. In the end, they agree to simply stay the way they are. This is what makes Gumball such a wonderful character in the relationship with his girlfriend. I don't care if everyone loves Dipper in the last "Gravity Falls" episode, Gumball got the girl and he's better off! ****
