This was a great episode. I could watch Ben Mendelsohn puff and sigh all day long. The only thing that was perhaps too emphasised and therefore forced was the camaraderie between the group of main characters.

Terrifying Climax Build Up

What a scary and a well delivered episode. About the people who complained about the pace, I don't mind it at all. In fact, it made the series more interesting. We got to know the more about the characters, their characterization, specially if they had added a new one. Can't wait to watch more!
Got real!

This episode brings the storyline along nicely

Paddy Considine is well cast in his role, as are most of the cast, but one thing grates a little: there are no characters speaking in any of the regional accents that true characters would be using. Everyone speaks in the bland, universal dialect of TV productions as though everyone is from the same town, or even the same neighborhood.
Considine is a past master of accents, as are Ben Mendelsohn and Mare Winningham. It seems that the writers are the ones with a tin ear for dialects. This failure intrudes on the viewers' ability to suspend disbelief and to accept the reality created for the story.

Very satisfying episode

So thru-out this entire investigation you have the central characters processing what can only be described as wildly conflicting evidence. I won't go into that, I only mention it because for this to work, the most cynical doubters MUST become believers or the story doesn't work. I knew Ralph had to be convinced but I must admit I was terrified of how that would be handled. All I can say is kudos to the writers actors and whole crew for doing what they did. I have high hopes for the last 2 episodes.
Interesting but SO SLOW!!!

Usually I'm not into Stephen King's stories because they are often too weird for me but this show (although still weird) is kinda interesting. The acting is good and the characters are very interesting. With that said, my god, it is so SLOW!!!
Fifty one minutes for an episode and the story barely moved forward. What the hell? I'm starting to worry there's not going to be an ending to the story. They seriously need to pick up the pace!!
Not as good as the beginning of the show.

Warning: Spoilers
Well, they have actual proof now. So I'm guessing the last two episodes will be entirely focused on trying to find and catch it. And something tells me Ralph still won't believe, which makes one wonder what will happen that does make him believe if that's going to happen. I'm guessing he'll come face to face with it as Claude.
Personally, while this episode was enjoyable, these recent episodes haven't been quite as good as when the show started, especially considering there's hardly any mystery left. All that's left to do is move the plot forward, and even then, that won't necessarily make the episodes just as enjoyable as the first few.
One thing is certain, though: Without the plot moving forward, even if it is moved, just barely, these more recent episodes, including this one, are more tedious than anything. I think too much was revealed too quickly, and that's the cause for it. At this point, the most prominent feeling towards this show is the feeling of wanting it to be over, and something tells me that feeling is stronger for certain people. Me, while it is present, I'm still invested. But I truly hope the last two episodes are very exciting and exceptional, like with the first few. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing what will transpire in them, and how it'll all end.

Too slow with no sense of urgency

I'm binging this show and kinda into it, especially because of the lovely Ben Mendelsohn, but this is just a drag of an episode with no real suspense until the last few minutes. I really hope the pace will pick up in the last two episodes..
Still slow and boring

This episode should of easily been episode 3 or 4, the writers are milking their time here and I'm already bored to the point I'm skimming through the episodes. I'll be shocked if there is another season. Not worth spending money for HBO.
