Marvel Strike Force is a game that you have to put some effort into. A lot of stuff you need to level up to do like nodes on the campaign. Typically when you finally unlock those nodes, it seems pretty easy. What I would change is to remove the level requirements to allow more struggle with general gameplay to allow some more problems solving capabilities to be gotten out of the game.
It has a lot Marvel characters and it seems like they're still adding new ones, so if a character you like isn't currently in the game, they might eventually get in.
This game does involve the multiverse. It has you making a Multiversal team of Marvel heroes and villains, which is named Strike Force. Nick Fury is known for creating it like he did with the Avengers in the MCU.
Overall, I like the character collection good but the general gameplay needs to be improved (sometimes gold seems too hard to get).
