Standard plot + bad acting from the main character
cahidi29 March 2020
The story was pretty straight forward, kind of boring if you've watched drama a lot. Zero plot twist, nothing interesting happened that you couldn't have guessed. And the acting! Yikes! Kristanna Loken and Olivia d'Abo could only saved so much, cause Trevor Stines's robotic acting was ruining the whole movie. I'm not trying to be mean, but his acting was worse than Kristen Stewart in Twilight. I get that he's probably new, but can he like, take acting classes? Has he ever heard of facial expression? If you're a straight woman or a gay man, you'll enjoy watching this movie only because of the view, if you know what I mean.

A family of supermodels suffer a family tragedy
phoenixinvictus16 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Everybody in this movie looks like they are supermodels and it became a bit difficult to focus on the story. I kept thinking about why nobody was this gorgeous when I was going to high school? I was suffering from acne and bad hairdos. The dad is a stud who looks like he works at a gym for twelve hours a day (no wonder he suffers a heart attack), the mom is a total babe and the kids look like that they could do Colgate commercials on their free time (so yeah). This family is so beautiful that they just can't be real. Oh yes, about the movie! Once you get past the supermodel shock you get to the story. It has a poor start, relying on the usual cliché of dad dies and mom has to provide for her children who are almost adults (I'd shed a tear if the kids didn't look like supermodels but that is probably just my jealousy talking). It struggles hard to be decent but eventually catches the attention and it gets reasonably better. It has probably two good actors involved like Olivia d'Abo and Kristanna Loken who make this film bearable to watch. I won't rate this movie (because of my jealousy of how beautiful they are) but it's ok to watch at least once.

A nice movie to watch before going to sleep
wasemalkoky27 May 2020
Well you cannot help yourself while watching it not to feel board quickly and start feeling asleep, the events just happens too slow and some kind of flash card, hardly anything motivate you to continue watching it other than the hope it might get better but after you reach half of it and realized that's pretty it you start regret the 45 min spend and say let's just get done with it, no story no tricks nothing, just drama with old-teenager sex that's it, and they mixed it up with crimes but nothing on surface and hard to grasp pretty anything I am writing this in the middle of the movie and sleepy already, give me back my life

Kevin Arnold's sister is a madam!
rightisright21 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Olivia D'Abo from the Wonder Years is all grown up and running a stable of high school guys for bored housewives. She's fantastic here. Also great is Beth Broderick as one of the housewives. There's nothing like a snappy, sexy Lifetime movie on a hot summer night.

Entertaining role reversal
phd_travel21 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Usually the girl is exploited for sex and has to be rescued. Here the guy is the victim. After losing their Father a family moves to Purity Falls. The 18 year old son gets roped into becoming a prostitute by his neighbourhood madam.

The acting is quite good. Kristanna Loken as mom is slim and fun to watch. Should see more of her. Olivia d'abo is suitably madam like. Trevor Stines of Riverdale is the hapless boy.

Worth a watch.

Really enjoyed it!
baweinberg24 February 2021
This was a fun watch! I thought it was great to see the young men being objectified rather than the young women! It felt scandalous in a slightly cringey way like a VC Andrews story would. Don't expect a masterpiece obviously it's a lifetime movie, but in my opinion is one of the better ones!

Cradle Robbers
lavatch19 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Miss Courtney McQueen is the pride of Purity Falls. As a role model citizen, she has been acknowledged with the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award in recognition of her selfless devotion in giving back to the community. The only little problem is that her main contribution is in the running of an elite call boy service, as she recruits members of the high school wrestling team to serve as consorts for well-to-do, middle age women.

Nicole Johnson has recently moved to Purity Falls with her two high school age children, Jason and Justine. The family is recovering from the loss of the dad, who died of a heart attack. Miss McQueen instantly sets her sights on young Jason and begins sending him out for lucrative assignations. One is with Miss Tiffany Harris, who is a local judge.

Of all the jobs in the world that would be the most ironic, the unsuspecting Nicole has become the high school's "guidance counselor." She receives troubling information from one student about acts against nature that are being committed in the community. It turns out that just everyone knows a little about the true nature of Miss McQueen's livelihood...except for Nicole Johnson!

There are many outrageous lines of dialogue in the film. But probably the best is when the naive Nicole believes that her son is working for Miss McQueen in landscaping. After she learns that other boys are engaged by her neighbor, she tells Miss McQueen, "You must have every boy in the neighborhood working for you!"

The runner up for best line in the film is spoken by Judge Tiffany Harris, when she describes the "landscaping" work performed by Justin, telling Nicole at a party that "I'm very satisfied with his work."

The filmmakers were successful in keeping some levity in the film. The characters were an interesting cross-section of humanity, including the mayor, Sam Wiley, who, it was subtly suggested, might have been in on the action of Miss McQueen's services himself. As appropriate for this film, the screenwriters were able to achieve a pleasurable climax.
