touching and not easy going
vtorviana13 January 2019
It hurted a lot to watch this one especifically. I could see many young boys and girls that could easily identify in almost all of the situations that are presented here, and this episode was, by far, the most deep and real out of the 8. Te dosage between comedy and drama is just flawless, and I found myself multiple times envolved and rooting so bad for some, and hating so bad some others. It was a real great moment for me, I highly recommend.

It's getting emotional
krrajesh14 January 2019
From the first four episodes i got an impression that this is a funny adult series with some sex and nudity. But this episode changed the whole perspective. Now it's getting deeper and emotional. If the initial episodes made me laugh , this one made me cry. Never expected this series will overlook into the emotional depth of characters, but as usual Netflix have done a great job. Loved the characterisation of Eric and Maeve , and the actors who played the characters was phenomenal. The episode ended in a positive spirit , and this the best one so far..

Actually made me cry. What a tough but moving episode portrayed so thoughtfully.

The show went from great to phenomenal in a his episode
emboquet23 January 2019
This episode played out like a mini-movie.... the progression of the characters went from "humorous teen tropes" to fully real, flawed characters we really care about. The story was brilliant-- sad, touching, complicated, funny, emotional-- the end had me laughing and cheering which is very odd for an hour-length comedy/drama show! I didn't understand the gushing reviews of this show until this episode; I liked it but wasn't blown away. Now I am very sad there is only a few more episodes as it really is turning into something special!!

Last scene broke me

Warning: Spoilers
One of the most touching episodes. An outfit that for one characger meant "you look fabulous" or "cute outfit" meant for another character to get assualted. These things are so important to see in media, well done! Also love that Jackson is getting a deeper character development, thought he'd be the stereotypical hot jock, but boy was I wrong. Also love that his moms are struggling, showing that ever couple has issues. Oh and I love how they brought up that you can take something meant to embarrass you and turn it. That last scene was hislrious as well as touching. Glad I gave this show a watch.

So Real
referencegirl6 February 2019
THIS episode is so real, heartbreaking, and touching. The characters take real risks and, just as in life, they don't always pay off but when they do we see how worthwhile the risks can be.

Immaculate execution
jolinemails21 January 2019
It's not the most pleasant episode to watch, yet the first to inspire me to write about one (as opposed to waiting until I have seen the whole season, like I usually do).

The plot twists are rather good, nothing really predictable. My favourite thing about this show so far is how they didn't just dish out your usual Mean Girls, jocks, nerds, and gay stereotypes (which would have been too easy to use as a trope). Love the cinematography and colour grading as well.

I did not expect things to continue going this well.

What an episode!

I was not feelin this series in the first two episodes. I'm so glad I gave it a chance. And this episode was one of the best one yet. So many emotions packed into one. LOVE IT!!! The ending scene broke me and made me cry. This episode shows why we should always do the right thing no matter what and be mindful of our decisions in life.

Probably the best in all
sauravjoshi8521 December 2019
Fifth episode of the series is the best them all with a mixture of humour, love, friendship and emotional.

The series is getting interesting and better with each of the episodes.

1. Never compare the appearance of others' lives with the inside of your life.

2. Put everyone in their place and be mindful of those around you.

Things I learned from this episode.

A missed opportunity to be awesome.
SlinkyC2 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I like the series overall. But I found this episode really missed an opportunity and in fact reinforced body-shaming - having it seem normal for a whole school to burst out laughing at a normal, young woman's body. Sad for all the teens out there watching.

Making an ep about mocking a young woman's v*lva because it has hair - and I'm talking massively mocking it (whole school ridicule) - is really disappointing, and makes it seem like a normal body is a reason for ridicule.

Awesome to see a minge on screen - SO rare! But then to ridicule it as if it was something so horrific, comparing it to a guinea pig and chewbacca? Um, what? :(

And come on - for a show called "Sex Education" you'd think they'd know to call the photo a V*lva, not a V*gina?

Meanwhile, the Eric storyline was really beautifully done and heartbreaking.

What a treat this show is - Episode 5 - best episode in an unmissable series
kathmorton14 February 2019
I just loved this episode and how it's storylines were treated so humanely - moving and so funny simultaneously. Brilliant script, direction and acting. I'm 48, grew up in the Wye Valley where it's filmed and love recognising every location- what a treat this show is!!

Ahhh the love triangle is so fun to watch.

"It's my vagina"

Eric vs Otis is a conflict that I did not expect develop to this extent so I would love to know how it is going to get resolved.

Completely hooked and recommend this series to anyone!

Wow ! Just wow !! This episode took it to the next level. So emotional. Started watching thinking it's an adult comedy, this episode changed my expectations. Best episode so far. And I'm sure there is better to come. Great job Netflix as always.

Love Vs Friendship
aakashb1w27 May 2020
This is a most emotional episode on this series's. Tough situation for our young Otis. His 10sec love made a chaos in his 10years friendship. Heart touching scenes :( brilliant acting from all the actors. I'm getting too addicted to this series because of this episode. Worth watching !
