Very poignant. This was excellent.

The difference in tone from episode to episode is really quite incredible, one episode it's about story, the next it's about humour and shocks, this is the first time I've actually found it rather moving.

The story is so deliciously dark and twisted, with still no possible clue of a resolution. Here Nadia and Alan have no choice but to get closer. His scene where he discusses his first death was so moving.

Terrific. 9/10

Warning: Spoilers
A good cliffhanger at the end, a strong use of the video game metaphor and just hope that there might be a master plan that was well-constructed for all of this. I think that is what viewers are hoping for that the ending satisfies and doesn't feel thrown together.

Good episode here.

How do you know you are real?

Nadia rejects being tied to Alan and stabs him to see if they share pain. Their differences resurface. Alan: OCD, afraid of therapy, allergic to everything. Nadia: Chaotic, smoker, obsessive. This causes more friction between them.

We discover that rebirth seems to introduce subtle changes and the rotten fruit we have seen before seems to be growing more prevalent. We are gradually learning more about the mystery, but nothing is clear, hooking me into the next instalment.

Promising title

Warning: Spoilers
I don't know if there will be any development on this, but the idea of Nadia's mom issues with mirrors, the idea that they are a way of showing existance and the fact that they disappear at the end of the chapter should open some questions.

An ironic title, an amazing instalment

"Reflection" is an appropriately ironic title for reasons I won't give away here.

This is a top notch episode with some standout moments. Nadia's visit to Beatrice's apartment is memorable and a wonderful scene.

Reflection

Nadiya wants to find out if she feels pain if Alan feels pain. She stabs him in the leg. Well they are not the same person but they are the odd couple.

What Nadiya really wants to know is what they have in common. The key might be their first death but Alan has trouble recalling his.

There is still fruit and vegetable rotting. A video game that Nadiya designed which Alan once played and complained that one of the levels was impossible to solve.

More importantly Reflection deals with mirrors and harks back to Nadiya's childhood. When they reset after their deaths, the mirrors are gone this time.

I sensed that Russian Doll was going darker. A jilted Alan contemplating suicide, Nadiya's troubling relationship with her mother. There are still more questions than answers but both need to find them out together.
