- The Three Caballeros race to the summoning chamber beneath Sheldgoose Manor in an attempt to prevent the reawakening of Lord Felldrake. With new-found magic powers, Baron Von Sheldgoose tries to delay the Caballeros by drawing upon their old enemies and transporting lava lizards, the dragon, and the ghosts of his own ancestors to the catacombs beneath Shelldgoose Manor to battle Donald, José, and Panchito. Xandra uses the Atlas to counter their foes by bringing the Minotaur, the gods of Olympus, the goblins, and the Founding Fathers to the aid of the heroes. Even with the help of their past allies, the Caballeros are too late; Felldrake is restored to his former gigantic form. He turns the entire New Quackmore Institute into a cosmic wasteland. But Donald, José, and Panchito, at the request of a mysterious wizard, bathe in a magic pool and find themselves endowed with the power of their ancestors' amulets. They use that power to draw Felldrake back into his staff. To stop them, Sheldgoose breaks the staff, but Felldrake, instead of being trapped, vanishes. The cosmos is restored, Felldrake is gone, and Sheldgoose is removed from his position as president of the New Quackmore Institute. Until an election can be held, the presidency passes to the nearest relative of Cornelius Coot, namely Donald. He and his friends move into the manor house, but unbeknownst to them, Felldrake is not destroyed; he is now trapped within Sheldgoose's consciousness, living to plot and return another day.
