Expendable
bobcobb30126 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I am not sure that there was enough material here to stretch this out over a mini-series, it probably should have been a movie, but as a whole it has been good. This episode upped the ante and made me anxious to see how it all ends next time.

Warning: Spoilers
91 Tango (91T) Military Occupational Skill (M.O.S., NOT Medical Office Specialist) at that time was Tracked Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic of Enlisted and NCOs, 90A and 91A Specialty Skill Identifiers (S.S.I.) for Officers was S.S.I. 90A as a Wheeled Vehicle Maintenance Officer, S.S.I. 91A as a Tracked Vehicle Maintenance Officer. The M.O.S. for U.S. Military Medical Service Corps was 60 Series and 63. U.S. Army Veterinary Corps M.O.S. was 64.

Later after 2000, 91T became the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps Animal Care Specialist Military Occupational Skill, previously was MOS of Medical related MOS of 60 Series, as 68T. Bunch of Civilian and Military Bureaucrats messed up the Enlisted and NCO MOS and Officers SSI Systems that had worked for Decades.

After graduating from Officer's Basic Training, graduated from the Wheeled (S.S.I. 90A) and Tracked (S,S,I, 91A) Vehicle Maintenance Officer's Course. Followed by other Courses as Conventional Munitions (SSI 75A) and EOD (75X), Missile Officers Course (73A), Nuclear Weapons Physics and Physiology Course (75C), Chemical Munitions Officer Course (Chemical Corps SSI 74A), Biological Warfare Officer Course (Medical Service Corps SSI 63, Epidemiology). Previous Drafted Vietnam War Field Artillery M.O.S. 13, Airborne (including Airmobile aka Air Assault) 11P, U.S. Army Ranger 11V, U.S. Army Special Forces 18, U.S. Army Special Forces Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol 18D (later changed to L, with D becoming Medical Specialist)

After 2000, some Administrative Bureaucrats decided to change the Military Occupational Skill, M.O.S. numbers for Enlisted and NCOs, eliminated the U.S. Military Officer's Separate Specialty Skill Identifiers, and use the renumbered M.O.S. numbers for Enlisted, NCOs, and Officers.

Accuracy 9

Accurately portrays Civilian Bureaucrats being more concerned about Public Perception than Protecting the U.S. Citizens, same as during the Mexico City Influenza Outbreak, H1N1, while Democrat President Obama was at Mexico City, CDC demanded President Obama's Authorization to close U.S. Borders, implement Thermographic Monitoring at U.S. Airports (like Asian and European nations did during the Avian Influenza Epidemic), as to give time to create a vaccine, test vaccine, produce vaccine, distribute Vaccine.

Instead Democrat President Obama publicly announced on Mexican TV that U.S. Borders would remain Open, U.S. Military would not be used to Secure U.S. Borders, and would give Amnesty to Illegal Aliens, Ordered the CDC to NOT name the H1N1 Virus after the Outbreak Location as Traditionally done to identity a specific Virus of the same type, like Ebola Zaire, Ebola Reston, Ebola Marburg. Naming the Virus after the Outbreak Location makes the virus easily identifiable including what symptoms, longevity, and incubation period, and other differences of the same stain of virus. We were sent to Mexico City to determine Source, and collect samples, Source a Pig and Chicken Farm, the Virus was a nearly impossible combination of Swine Influenza Virus (575,400 Deaths Worldwide), and Avian Influenza Virus (2 to 7.4 million deaths Worldwide). To prevent a Panic of the U.S. Population U.S. Medical Professionals did not attribute deaths to the Mexico City Influence, H1N1, and diagnosed Deaths from "Underlying Causes" as the same with the previous AIDS Pandemic as Death from pneumonia, infections, etc. as anything except the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, H.I.V..
