This episode really sums up the overall approach to the show. Its not only about the tear jerking reality of the individuals who are the focus of each episode, but you get a sense that this bunch of guys really do care and have empathy with the people they encounter.
Its not overtly sentimental or corny but shows the reality that many people, who dont fit societies appetite for conformity, struggle with in coming to terms with their lives, sexuality, situations.
I for one am an avid fan of the show. Particularly Karamo who seems to be such a great role mode for anyone struggling with identity and acceptance.
A real winner. I hope that Jess is doing well and thriving. It would be great to catch up with the individuals featured in the show 6 month or a year down the line to see how their lives have been impacted or how they are have changed as a result of being featured in the series. Hats off to the producers for positive messaging that we can all benefit from.
