[6.8] The vanishing bullets

Episode 8: More or less averagely to well done with some interesting development, semi-interesting flow and some not-so-generic standard fights as far as the show is concerned.

It was better than many previous episodes because of the all lady fights and aside bullets not hitting their targets that was a nice entertaining one!

Another decent episode.

Jenny becoming the Fire Wu was surprising. But it made me question something. Kai clearly isn't going to kill her just because she's the Fire Wu and using the Gu to get it out of her would seem like a lame way to go about it considering it has already been done with Uncle Six. And that's where my question comes in. Why did Kai even use the Gu method with Uncle Six? He's not a killer, but it would've been a more plausible outcome to kill him instead of removing the Monk Piece. Kai clearly hated him a lot unless that was all an act from the start and not really true.

It's poor writing when you have to put events in time order because you can't write a complete story eps. So the solution is to make several small stories and then place time directions on it. The only reason for this in a series is lack of money or creativity.

Disappointing

I have been enjoying the series so far but this episode makes me consider if I actually want to continue the series. The poor episode formatting was already talked about in another review but this episode makes a lot of poor choices beyond the overdone skipping back a few ours formula. The episode felt like it had odd plot holes, questionable use of the weaknesses of the Wus, and left the watcher pondering the believability of the choices all the characters made.
